Aesthetic Smile Designs

Restoration refers to the repair of a damaged structure. As a dentist, what we do in such treatments is to repair and extend the life of the teeth while performing aesthetic procedures without causing harm to the teeth. But how is this possible?

Composite Veneers

Composite veneer procedure is an aesthetic smile design process performed by applying composite layering onto suitable teeth without cutting them. It can be used to close gaps between teeth, repair fractures, correct wear, and fix small or misshapen teeth, ultimately providing the patient with a brand new smile. The biggest advantage of this procedure is that it fully preserves the teeth and avoids any tooth cutting process. If necessary, the application can be reversed, and the teeth can be restored to their original state.

Porcelain Veneers

Our porcelain veneer procedure is commonly known as ‘porcelain leaf’ in the community. Porcelain veneers applied only to the front surface of the tooth offer a beautiful smile while minimizing tooth preparation, meaning they can be applied without extensive cutting. The amount of tooth reduction is minimal, typically ranging from 0.5 to 2 mm. The greatest advantage of porcelain veneers is that they do not discolor over time. They are often preferred over composite veneers, especially by patients who consume coffee, tea, or smoke. Of course, the most appropriate treatment option is determined by your dentist.

Onlay-Inlay Treatments

Restorations designed with digital systems to repair lost tooth structure due to decay or fracture in our back molar teeth are called onlays, inlays, or overlays. These treatment options are among the most current in the literature. Measurements for these treatments are taken with digital scanners, offering patients an extremely comfortable treatment experience.

Their major advantages include:

  • Measurements are taken with intraoral scanners, providing a much more comfortable process than traditional measurement methods, and allowing for quicker production, saving time.
  • They offer a longer lifespan for the tooth compared to traditional crown procedures and can be readily replaced if they break.
